 A substantial part of SES Lighting's business activities involve outdoor tennis lighting for clubs and residential use. Various lighting configurations are available, and are tailored to suit individual requirements for LUX levels and budgets. In order to enhance player enjoyment, club officials should ensure competition lighting conforms to the standards nominated by their respective state administrative body.
This is most important and is more easily achieved using "low level" lighting systems mounting at heights up to 7 metres above ground. The older high level systems generally mount up to 15 metres in height and are considerably more costly to maintain whilst having substantially lower lighting performance than the ENVIRON system. High pole systems are also more stringently controlled under building and planning guidelines.

What You Need To Know About Sports & Commercial Area Lighting |
 Competition Level Tennis Lighting:As opposed to social, (residential) standard lighting, when playing competition level tennis in the evenings we recommend a '6 pole' ENVIRON 1000 low level system (general rule for a single court ; this varies with club courts), with a height of 7 metres above the playing area.
What About Social Playing?At SES Lighting, we have a residential standard using a '4 pole' low level system, with a mounting height of 7 metres above the playing area, (specified by local government requirements). As with competition lighting, we use and recommend ENVIRON 1000 metal halide flood fittings for their sharp cut-off and environmentally friendly reflector designed specifically for minimum light spill.
 Commercial Lighting:SES commercial lighting systems are most commonly installed for area and security flood lighting purposes within car parks, display yards, service stations and vehicle wash bays.
We recommend the ENVIRON range for commercial applications with a range that varies from 70W to 1500W depending on our client's requirements. For example, an external car sales area may require a higher light level than a car park.

What You Need To Know About Security & Sensor Lighting |
 Security Lighting-No Uninvited Guests Remain Unnoticed:SES Lighting are distributors of the STEINEL range of automatic indoor, outdoor, wired and wireless sensor PIR lighting systems and accessories.
Why Wireless?In some cases, where the installation environment makes it difficult (and sometimes impossible) to run lighting cable and wiring, an alternative is needed; wireless systems, provide that alternative.
Wireless systems carry a range of up to 50m through brick and glass and include hand held transmitters for greater convenience.

 Environ 1000/1500 Tennis Lighting For Domestic & Club CourtsThe ENVIRON 1000/1500 is designed for low mounting heights up to 8 metres. The sharp cut-off limits spill light thereby meeting Local Authority requirements under normal conditions. (1Kw metal halide lamps have a lamp life of approximately 5 years).
Environ 250/400 Outdoor, Carpark & Commercial LightingWith less wattage than the ENVIRON 1000, the 250/400 is suitable for low mounting with low running costs. Street optic or forward throw sharp cut-off minimum spill reflectors are available.
